On 18th March 2025 at 11:00 h, the application deadline for the Visual Arts Research Stipends awarded by the Senate Department for Culture and Social Cohesion ends. We will be inviting representatives of the Senate Department to answer any questions you may have.

The scholarships are intended for the artistic/curatorial development of professionally working artists and curators in Berlin. Funding is provided for artistic/curatorial development and the exploration of new ideas and approaches.

Applications are again possible annually. People who last applied for the 2024 research stipends can apply again.
In 2025, the research stipends will be awarded for the first time via a partially randomized award procedure.

The event is held online and in German.There will be a translation into English.

Participation is free of charge. As the number of places is limited, you must register in advance using our registration form.

Information about cancellation:
We would like to give as many cultural and creative professionals as possible the chance to attend our events. If you are unable to attend, we kindly ask you to cancel your registration in advance. Please send an email to beratungszentrum@kulturprojekte.berlin at least 48 hours before the start of the event. This will allow someone else to take part in the event.
